Charitable status

EmpowerED Africa gUG exclusively and directly pursues charitable purposes within the meaning of the “tax-privileged purposes” section of the German Tax Code (§§ 51 ff. AO). The entity is recognized as charitable (gemeinnützig) under § 60a AO by Finanzamt Lübeck. Donation receipts (Zuwendungsbescheinigungen) under § 50 EStDV can be issued.

VAT

As a small-scale entity under § 19 UStG, EmpowerED Africa gUG does not charge or show VAT.
